Ten medals - three gold, one silver and six bronze - were won by Turkmen kickboxers at the World Cup held in Hungary. More than 2000 athletes from 43 countries took part in the competition, reports the official website of the organizers.
Turkmen kickboxers achieved this success under the guidance of the honored coach Alexander Snagovsky, whose methods of work have consistently brought high results to Turkmenistan in the international arena for several decades.
Atajan Atamuradov (up to 54 kg), Hajimurat Geldymammedov (up to 86 kg) and Said Fakirov (up to 91 kg) climbed to the highest step of the podium as part of the Turkmenistan national team at the World Cup in Hungary.
Muhammednazar Gurbannazarov (up to 60 kg) was awarded the silver medal, and Eziz Meredov (up to 51 kg), Pygy Silabov (up to 60 kg), Mekan Begmammedov (up to 67 kg), Gochmurat Jumaniyazov (up to 75 kg), Serdar Mammedov (up to 86 kg) and Gulzada Jorakuliyeva (up to 65 kg).
