Festive sadaka on the occasion of the start of construction of the second stage of the city of Arkadag was given in a city of state significance being built 30 kilometers southwest of the Turkmen capital, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper today.

During the sadaka, the prayer “ayat-tovir” was offered with an appeal to the Almighty with a request for the prosperity of the sovereign Motherland and the well-being of the people of Turkmenistan.

The first “smart” city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan is included in the project “Development of sustainable, green, climate-friendly cities with innovative solutions in the OSCE region”.

Let us remind, the day before, the President of Turkmenistan launched the second phase of the construction of the city of Arkadag, and also donated electric vehicles and cars to its institutions.

Within the framework of the second stage, it is planned to build five secondary schools for 720 places each, nine kindergartens for 320 places, a Health House, and a building for the Fire Safety Service. A railway station, a car park, a dispatch center and a bus station will also be built.

Within the framework of the second stage, it is also planned to build industrial complexes for the industrial processing of local raw materials that meet all environmental requirements.

The second phase of the construction of the city of Arkadag should be completed in 2026.
