The rules of entry for Russian citizens to Armenia and Kazakhstan have changed

From June 13, changes in the rules for entry into Armenia and Kazakhstan for citizens of the Russian Federation traveling on an internal passport or birth certificate came into force, the press service of Belavia Airlines reports.


Under the new rules, Russian citizens:


  • can travel on an internal passport to Armenia;
  • cannot travel on an internal passport to Kazakhstan;
  • regardless of age, they cannot travel on a birth certificate. An exception is made on flights to the Russian Federation, as well as from the Russian Federation to Belarus for passengers under the age of 14, in this case, the rules for determining the citizenship of a child apply. Thus, children under 14 can travel to the indicated destinations with a birth certificate.
