Footballers of the English "West Ham" beat the Italian "Fiorentina" in the final match of the Conference League. The meeting was held in Prague at the Fortuna Arena stadium and ended with the score 2:1 in favor of the Hammers, TASS reports.
Saeed Benrahma (62nd minute, penalty kick) and Jarrod Bowen (90th) were among the winners with goals scored. Fiorentina has the only goal in the asset of Giacomo Bonaventura (67th).
With the Conference League victory, West Ham will play in the Europa League group stage next season.
The Conference League is in its second season and is considered the third most powerful European competition after the Champions League and Europa League. The first winner of the trophy in the 2021/22 season was the Italian Roma, who beat the Dutch Feyenoord 1-0 in the final.
