The “Ogonki” Russian Dance Ensemble named after Garry Polevoy of the State Philharmonic Society of the Altai Territory of the Russian Federation is one of the participants in the international dance and folklore festival Avaza-2023, which will be held in Turkmenistan from June 13 to 16.
According to the “Vecherniy Barnaul” portal, “Ogonki” will show the guests and participants of the festival the brightest performances, which have long become the hallmark of the band. “Kolyvanskaya Naparochka”, “Siberian Dancing”, “Sudarushka” and many others will please the audience of the international folklore event.
The trip to the festival in Turkmenistan will be supported by the government of the Altai Territory, the source notes.
Let us remind that the organizer of the festival is the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. Among its foreign participants are teams from Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Romania, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. The host of the international creative forum - Turkmenistan will be represented by the best choreographic ensembles and folklore and ethnographic groups.
