Saudi football club Al Ittihad have officially announced the signing of striker Karim Benzema. The Frenchman signed a two-year contract. According to media reports, the 35-year-old striker will earn 200 million euros over this period.
Karim Benzema spent 14 seasons at Real Madrid. He scored 353 goals and became the second goalscorer in the history of the Madrid club. Benzema moves to the Arabian League as the reigning Ballon d'Or winner, five-time Champions League winner and four-time Spanish champion.
Al-Ittihad are the reigning Saudi Arabian champions. His main competitor is Al-Nasr, which is played by Cristiano Ronaldo.
