Georgian Napoli midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been named the best player in the Italian Football Championship for the 2022/23 season. It is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the tournament.
In 33 matches of the Italian championship, Kvaratskhelia scored 12 goals and made 13 assists. Napoli became the champion of Italy for the first time in 33 years.
Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel was named the best goalkeeper, Napoli's Kim Min-jae became the best defender, Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella was the best midfielder, Napoli's Victor Osimhen was the best forward. The best young player of the season was 22-year-old Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli.
