1. 5 documents on cooperation in various fields were signed following the talks in Tehran between the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi. During the meeting in a narrow format and in an expanded format with the participation of government delegations, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi discussed the development of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, after which the relevant documents were signed. Let us remind that the head of the highest representative body of people's power of Turkmenistan is in Iran on a two-day working visit.
2. With the onset of the summer period, residents of Turkmenistan received SMS messages from the State Fire Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan through the “Altyn asyr” mobile operator. Citizens were reminded to turn off electrical appliances when leaving their homes or offices.
3. Gulnabat Saparova, a student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, was awarded the title “Student of the Year 2023”. Having successfully demonstrated her talents and abilities, deep knowledge in the field of history, literature, art, English, Gulnabat Saparova was able to prove her superiority over her competitors and convince the competent jury of her superiority. The student also won the victory due to personal success and achievements in studies, the desire for knowledge, interest in science, diligence and responsibility. The solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the competition was held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. The competition was traditionally organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the National Trade Union Center.
4. On the territory of the Guryhovdan reserve of the Kopetdag State Natural Reserve, a foal of a wild ass was born. A small kulanon was photographed by a camera with a strong zoom lens. Kulans are very cautious animals, especially when it comes to offspring, and it is almost impossible to get close to them. In the reserve, they said that a whole family of kulans lives in the open area among the hills of Guryhovdan - a male and three females, and last year there was also an addition to the family. Ecologists monitor animals, and also make sure that all factors of concern are excluded. The nearest source of water, where kulans go to drink, is kept clean and they try to feed it in winter.

5. Mars will begin testing new packaging for its chocolate bars. Instead of plastic, it is planned to use paper. Manufacturers have been developing paper packaging for bars that can protect against moisture and air for two years. If the Mars bars are successful, Bounty, Milky Way, Snickers and others will also get paper packaging.
6. “The Little Mermaid” remake has grossed 38 million USD at the box office by May 26 and over 10 million USD in US previews, making it one of the best box office debuts of 2023. All matches of the regional championship of Central Asia in tennis, which will be held in Ashgabat from June 5 to 9 among boys and girls under 12 years old, will be held on the indoor courts of the Olympic Village. This was announced at a briefing for media representatives by the chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov. The Iranian specialist Seftedjani Mohammadhassan Lachinani was approved as the chief referee of the championship. As previously reported, young tennis players from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will take part in the tournament. Let us remind that in 2019, at the same tournament in Ashgabat, Turkmen tennis players took 3rd place.
8. Midfielder of the national team of Turkmenistan and Ashgabat “Altyn asyr” Ahmed Atayev was among the students of the first module of AFC coaching courses of category “A”. The start of this training program is reported on the website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan. The courses are taught by AFC instructor and Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Rovshan Muhadov. 24 specialists started training, including well-known former players of the national team of Turkmenistan. The first module of coaching courses started on May 25 and will last until June 5. The second part of the AFC training program will be held from June 14 to 24 this year.
9. The Central Asian Football Association has approved the start time for the matches of the CAFA Nations Cup-2023 tournament, which will be held from June 10 to 20 in Tashkent and Bishkek. The national team of Turkmenistan will perform in group “A”. The rivals of Mergen Orazov's team will be the national teams of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Oman.
