Head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi signed a joint declaration following the talks in Tehran. This was reported today by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The report notes that during the meetings of the delegations, which took place in a friendly and confidential atmosphere, an exchange of views took place on the entire spectrum of issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the political, inter-parliamentary, trade, transport and energy spheres.
According to the document, taking into account the strategic nature of relations between the two states, the need for further development of partnership in areas of interest to both parties was stated.
