Four high school students from three secondary specialized schools in Ashgabat became the winners of the International Design Olympiad VILIPO-2023, which was held for five days in Vilnius.
According to the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, a student of school № 83 Mahmyt Mahmudov and a student of school № 135 Shamuhammet Muhammedov became the owners of gold medals. The guys are the authors of a joint project in the field of modern information technologies.
Silver medals were awarded to students of the final grades of school № 97 Orazgul Guliyeva and Aynur Begliyeva for a joint project in the field of physics.
As the head of the national team, mathematics teacher of secondary specialized school № 135 Ahmet Ballyev emphasized, Turkmen schoolchildren competed with many of their peers from more than 20 countries of the world. In total, over 100 individual and joint projects were presented to the jury.
