During the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov with the rector of the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, issues of developing cooperation in the scientific and educational field were discussed.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the rector of the university was acquainted with the plan for holding complex events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
The parties agreed to hold a joint round table in September, and in 2024 - an international scientific conference "The contribution of Magtymguly's creativity to world literature."
Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov also expressed support for the work of the Turkmen embassy in translating the works of Magtymguly Fragi into the Kyrgyz language.
