Representatives of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University took part in online training seminars organized by the Belarusian State University within the framework of a cooperation agreement between universities, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The webinars were devoted to the problems of studying biotechnology in higher educational institutions.
The Belarusian side made reports on the peculiarities of educational programs for the training of biotechnologists, biological preparations for use in agricultural biotechnology and the experience of developing new generation veterinary drugs.
Their authors: Tatyana Ditchenko - Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovations of the Faculty of Biology, Candidate of Biology, Associate Professor; Irina Feklistova - Head of the Research Laboratory of Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology of the Department of Genetics, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Maxim Potapovich, Head of the Research Laboratory of Biotechnology of the Department of Microbiology.
During the forum, the parties also got acquainted with the work of specialized departments of partner universities, their infrastructure and equipment, practiced methods for training highly qualified specialists and priority vectors of research work.
Sharing with their colleagues the accumulated experience in the field of topical biotechnological research, the Turkmen forum participants also discussed the possibility of internships for young specialists from Turkmen State University on the basis of the Belarusian University. In turn, Belarusian teachers were invited to give lectures and conduct practical classes directly for students of the biological faculty of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
