On May 20 and 21, the Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat will host an exhibition of jewelry by Georgian minankari craftsmen.
The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Ashgabat with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
Minankari is an ancient Georgian technique of creating jewelry using natural enamel. The exhibition will feature works by such Georgian masters as Tamara Japaridze, Maya Gvitidze, Maiko Magalashvili, Sophie Etsadashvili and others.
Entrance to the exhibition is free.
