On Wednesday, during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Yerevan Muhametgeldi Ayazov with the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia A. Aleksanyan, issues of transport and logistics infrastructure and the establishment of new logistics communications were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the issue of using the transport and transit potential of Turkmenistan for Armenian trucks was raised. The Turkmen Ambassador received a request to assist in the search for cargo carriers and business partners in Turkmenistan in order to establish direct cooperation.
Ambassador M. Ayazov told the interlocutors about the results of the international transport and logistics forum recently held in Ashgabat.
At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors expressed confidence that the establishment of logistics links between the two countries would contribute to the further development of trade and economic cooperation.
