“Milan” lost to “Inter” in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. The meeting was held on Wednesday at the “San Siro” stadium and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the nominal guests, reports TASS.
Bosnian Edin Dzeko (8th minute) and Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan (11th) scored goals.
Let us note that “Inter” and “Milan” play home matches at the same stadium – “San Siro”. In the first meeting, “Milan” was the official host of the field, the second leg will be held on May 16.
In the final, the winner of the confrontation between the “Milan” clubs will play with the Spanish “Real” or the English “Manchester City”. Their first meeting in Madrid ended with the score 1:1.
The current winner of the Champions League is “Real Madrid”, in the final meeting of the previous tournament, the team was stronger than the English “Liverpool” (1:0).
The Champions League final will be held on June 10 in Istanbul.
