The space launch operator, Arianespace and the Swiss startup Clearspace will jointly hold a campaign to clean up space debris, Argumenty i Fakty writes, citing information from the Arianespace website.
The space cleaning mission will start in 2026. The cleanup ship, called Clearspace-1, will have to clean up 112 kilograms of debris orbiting Earth. Basically, these are large space debris and satellites that have exhausted their resources, which at any moment can fall apart into fragments and turn into hundreds of smaller debris.
