The President of Turkmenistan returned to Ashgabat after completing his working visit to Moscow

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov returned to Ashgabat, having completed his working visit to Russia, during which he took part today in the parade on Red Square in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 as an honored guest, the evening aired information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television.

Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Presidents of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, Presidents of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan also took part in the celebrations in Moscow at the invitation of the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Over the long history of the celebration, Victory Day has acquired a number of traditions and symbols, which to this day are an indispensable attribute of this bright and at the same time sad holiday that has inextricably linked different generations and peoples.

So, after the end of the military parade, the heads of state walked together to the Alexander Garden near the Kremlin wall, where a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier took place.

Paying tribute to the memory and respect to the heroes who stood up for the defense of peaceful life and freedom of all mankind and who fell in the battle against fascism on the fields of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the head of Turkmenistan laid red carnations at the Eternal Flame.

At the end of the celebrations, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proceeded to Vnukovo-2 International Airport, from where he flew to Ashgabat.

After some time, the plane of the head of state landed at the capital's International Airport, where the President of Turkmenistan was met by officials.
