President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In his congratulations, the Russian leader noted that the bright memory of those who, with their courage at the front, selfless work in the rear, crushed the Nazi invaders and saved humanity from the “brown plague” will forever live in our hearts.
“I am confident that the good traditions of military brotherhood and mutual assistance, hardened during the years of severe military trials, will continue to contribute to the fruitful development of friendship and deepened strategic partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan,” reads a message published today in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Vladimir Putin conveyed his most sincere congratulations to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Turkmenistan and wished them good health, good spirits and longevity.
