President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations to the Acting Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Lebanon Najib Mikati and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations being celebrated today.
“Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust”, - the head of state noted in his message, emphasizing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also expressed confidence that, thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between Turkmenistan and Lebanon would continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, the head of state expressed wishes to Najib Mikati for good health, happiness and well-being, and for the people of Lebanon - further progress and prosperity, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper today.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Lebanon were established on May 6, 1993.
