The Chinese automobile manufacturer JAC Motors presented the JAC E-J7 electric car of its own production at the exhibition organized during the conference "International transport and transit corridors: interconnection and development-2023" in Ashgabat. The footage was shown on the air of the "Watan" program of the Turkmen television.
According to the Turkmen media, JAC E-J7 passenger electric cars will run in the city of Arkadag in the near future.
JAC J7 is a compact liftback manufactured since 2019 by the Chinese company JAC Motors. Under the name JAC J7, the car is sold in export markets: in Mexico, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The JAC J7 liftback design was developed at the Italian style center JAC under the direction of Daniel Gallione, who previously designed the Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati models. Thanks to the carefully thought-out shape with a falling rear roof section, a drag coefficient Cx of 0.29 has been achieved, which is one of the best in the class.
The cabin has a 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen display that controls all functions, including the climate system, and a digital instrument panel with a choice of three design options. Atmospheric lighting is provided on the front panel and doors in 64 colors, with customization options, including to the beat of the music.
The car has a multifunctional steering wheel, a 40/60 folding rear seat with tilt adjustment, USB connectors for front and rear passengers, a digital instrument panel, a vertical touch display of the multimedia system and basic equipment control and a Bluetooth module for connecting a mobile phone. The car is equipped with airbags for the driver and front passenger, ABS, EBD, ESC systems, emergency braking assistance, hill start assistant, Auto Hold system, rear parking sensors.
In terms of trunk volume, the J7 is a strong middle peasant for cars of this segment. The JAC usable space capacity is 520 and 1510 liters with the rear sofa folded down.
With its overall dimensions JAC J7 (4775 x 1820 x 1492 mm) is one of the largest in the C + segment. The wheelbase is 2760 mm.
The all-electric version of the JAC E-J7 with two types of batteries provides 480 km and 602 km in the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) respectively.
