Secretary General of the Permanent Secretariat of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission Asset Asavbayev, speaking at the International Conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development", which takes place in Ashgabat, noted that Turkmenistan, which was at the origin of the program, last year expressed its intention to join Basic multilateral agreement on the development of the international transport corridor TRACECA.
