The stand of Turkmenistan was presented within the framework of the exhibition of cultures at the festival, held on Monday in Almaty on Abay Square on the occasion of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
The stand was organized by the representatives of the “Turkmen Public and Cultural Center” Ethno-Cultural Association and the department of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Almaty, reported the Turkmen diplomatic mission on social networks.
Turkmen carpet products, national costumes, handmade national embroidery, jewelry, musical instruments, colorful photographs about Turkmenistan and much more were presented in the pavilion of Turkmenistan. Akim of the city of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, having visited the Turkmen pavilion, highly appreciated it.
Students from Turkmenistan in national costumes told the visitors in detail about the peculiarities of national traditions, the meaning of color in the national men's and women's costumes.
