Japan today lifted all covid restrictions - 9 days ahead of the planned date. This is stated on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

From April 29, entry is allowed without tests or vaccination certificates. Instead, a system of voluntary testing for passengers with symptoms of covid at international airports will operate.

All other entry requirements and restrictions, including quarantine, were lifted by the Japanese government in 2022.

Citizens of Turkmenistan need a visa to travel to Japan.
