Representatives of the mass media of Turkmenistan took part in the international symposium of observers of the Turkic world, which was held on April 27 in Istanbul.
The forum brought together delegates from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The Symposium was opened by Oguz Göksu, Head of the Press and Broadcasting Department of the Communications Department under the President of the Republic of Turkey. Further, during the forum, speeches by representatives of various information publications, as well as a panel discussion, were organized.
The participants of the symposium discussed such topical issues as the current state and future of the media and communications of the Turkic world, bringing cooperation between the Turkic states to a new level, the fight against disinformation and other issues. The topic of energy cooperation in the new century was the subject of a panel session, which was attended by prominent representatives of the Turkish energy sector.
The international symposium was organized with the support of the Communications Department of the Republic of Turkey.
