1. On April 27, on the territory of the Russian House in Ashgabat and the Joint Turkmen-Russian School named after A.S. Pushkin hosted the worldwide action “Victory Dictation”, in which more than 250 people took part. The action was organized on the eve of the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
2. The second cargo plane of the Airbus company arrived at Ashgabat International Airport. The aircraft of the French company is optimized for the transportation of goods of various configurations over long distances. In accordance with the primordial national traditions, the plane was sprinkled with flour, fumigated with the smoke of a yuzarlik, and an alaja amulet was tied to the pilot's seat. Airbus aircraft will allow Turkmenistan to continue the active development of its network of international cargo routes.
3. The main prize of the President of Turkmenistan - a passenger car Toýota Land Сruiser - was raffled off at the races in the Dashoguz velayat, where celebrations were held on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse celebrated on the last Sunday of April. The competition program consisted of 8 races - among junior jockeys, adult jockeys and jockey-mentors from all velayats and Ashgabat. The main prize was awarded to the jockey Rozyyev from Mary velayat on the horse Edepli, who came first in a kilometer race.
4. Rector of the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev met with the Director General of the Japan Institute of International Relations, Professor Tomiko Ichikawa in Tokyo. The parties discussed the possibilities of academic and scientific cooperation, establishing a constructive and mutually beneficial partnership in promising areas of interaction.
5. The Turkish company Çalık Enerji will build a modern ecological village on the shores of the Turkmen Lake Altyn Asyr, located in the center of the Karakum Desert. Turkmen Lake is one of the largest artificial reservoirs in the world. The project is located 264 km from Ashgabat and its construction is estimated at about 4,5 billion US dollars. It may take up to 15 years to fill the lake to its full capacity, after which Altyn Asyr will occupy an area of 2000 square kilometers, and its maximum depth will be 70 meters.
6. More than 900 delegates have already registered to participate in the conference “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development” (ITTC), which will be held May 3-4 in Ashgabat. The Conference will be attended by high-ranking representatives of the government of Turkmenistan, representatives of international organizations, heads of national and international transport companies, and major international financial institutions.
7. An international exhibition-fair of crafts has opened in Florence. A needlewoman from Turkmenistan Aynabat Sharafova takes part in the event. At the stand of the Turkmen Art Studio, he presents art products, paintings and national clothes.

8. Since April 26, regular flights from Uzbekistan to Indonesia have resumed. Air traffic between the two countries was forced to stop three years ago due to the coronavirus pandemic. Flights from Tashkent to Jakarta will be operated once a week on Boeing aircraft.
9. Heavy snowfalls hit Turkish Antalya on April 27. The thickness of the snow cover in some places reached 10-15 centimeters in a few hours.
