Today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with the Special Ambassador of Italy for the EXPO-2030 Bid Committee Romeo Orlandi, who is in Ashgabat on a working visit.
The topic of the meeting was the presentation of the concept of Italy as part of the country's nomination of a candidate to host EXPO-2030 in Italy.
During the meeting, the state and prospects of Turkmen-Italian cooperation were discussed and mutual readiness was expressed for further promotion of cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
