Turkmen swimmer Merdan Atayev took second place at the Uzbekistan Open Swimming Championship in Tashkent in the 50m backstroke. The athlete showed a time of 27,28 seconds.
He lost to the representative of the Republican School of Higher Sportsmanship in water sports (Uzbekistan) Mahmudshoh Kodirov (27,24). Finn Mikhail Kleshko from the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan finished third (27,40).
Let us remind that earlier Merdan Atayev took two “gold” of the open championship of Uzbekistan in swimming - at distances of 100 and 200 meters on the back.
