The national hockey team of Turkmenistan won a crushing victory over the Thai team in its third match at the 2023 World Championship in the third division of group “A”. The meeting ended with the score 6:3 (0:0, 3:0, 3:3).

The team of Turkmenistan won the second victory in a row at the tournament. Prior to this, the Turkmen team defeated Luxembourg (4:1) and lost to South Africa (6:9).

Bayram Allayarov's wards will finish the tournament on April 23 with a match against Taiwan.

Taiwan is currently ranked first (9 points) in the group. The second place is taken by the team of Turkmenistan with 6 points.

The Ice Hockey World Championship in South Africa will end on April 22. Only the winner of the tournament will receive a ticket to the 2023 World Championship of the second division of group “B”.
