The national ice hockey team of Turkmenistan won the match of the World Ice Hockey Championship (third division) in group “A” against the team of Luxembourg. The meeting was held today at the “Ice Station” arena in Cape Town (South Africa) and ended with a score of 4:1.
Arslan Nuryev (9th minute), Pavel Barkovsky (29), Arslan Geldymuradov (32) and Dovlet Hydyrov (38) scored goals in the national team of Turkmenistan. As part of the Luxembourgers, a goal scored by Colm Cannon (33).

The national team of Turkmenistan played two matches at the World Championship in South Africa. Earlier, she lost to the South Africans (6:9).
