From November 2022 to April 2023, the public organization “Yenme” effectively implemented the project “On the way to success”, which promotes the professional self-determination of young people in their development and achievement of goals.
The project was implemented with the support of the International Organization for Migration in Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Eurasia Foundation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
How to find your calling in life? Young people are not always able to skillfully argue their position, listen and hear the interlocutor, clearly express their thoughts and correctly orient themselves in choosing a profession. And for this it is necessary to increase their potential, develop their strengths.
The project involved 30 youth representatives, including vulnerable youth. The aim of the project was to increase their potential through involvement in trainings on the development of flexible and professional skills and the creation of favorable conditions for their active participation in life.
Within the framework of the project, trainings, consultations and a job fair were held.
From the very first minutes, the participants of the training were set up for active participation, mastering new knowledge and skills. A positive attitude allowed us to maintain a good pace of work. Trainer Mustafina Madina used brainstorming, interactive methodology, and practical exercises.
During the trainings, the participants formed their career goals, learned to use the skills of self-presentation, time management, resume writing and interviewing.
During individual and group consultations, the participants were prepared for the job fair, in which entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were involved. Sharing their experience, they advised young people on success, self-development and career development.
