The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tbilisi (Georgia) held a mini-football tournament dedicated to the motto of 2023 “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar” and World Health Day, celebrated annually on April 7, reports the press service of the diplomatic mission.
The report notes that students, as well as citizens of Turkmenistan living in Georgia, took part in the tournament.
“Before the start of the event, it was noted that this wonderful holiday embodies the high principles of friendship, peace and sports. It occupies a special place in the national calendar of Turkmenistan as an important date that contributes to strengthening the unity and cohesion of society”, - the message says.
It was also emphasized that a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to actively implement the principles of a healthy lifestyle, popularize and develop physical culture and sports, and strengthen international cooperation in this area.
