In the family of Andrew and Caroline from the US state of Michigan, a girl was born for the first time in 138 years, reports The Independent, citing an interview for Good Morning America. The long-awaited baby named Audrey was born on March 17, 2023.
According to the happy father, since 1885 only boys were born in his family.
Even after finding out the sex of the child in September last year, the couple did not leave a feeling of distrust. “At every ultrasound, they asked to double-check that it was a girl,” Andrew said.
