Specialists of the media structures of Turkmenistan are invited to take part in the training "Media and climate change: theory and practice", which will be held on May 11-12 with the participation of experts in producing and creating multimedia projects on climate change.
The training is held within the framework of the Fifth Central Asian Conference on Climate Change (CACCC-2023), organized by the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC).
The purpose of the event is to promote the professional growth of media representatives of the Central Asian region in the preparation of high-quality materials for a wide audience on topics related to water, energy, food and environmental aspects in the context of climate change, to ensure full coverage of this topic in the region.
The training will use a blended learning approach. It consists of online and offline trainings, as well as mentoring.
Online platforms will host interactive sessions with other participants. During the offline training, which will take place on May 15 in Dushanbe, participants will get acquainted with the specifics of covering climate change issues and listen to experts in this field. They will also have a session on mobilography.
To participate in the training, you must fill out the application form by April 13.
Of all the candidates for the training, 20 participants will be selected, they will also take part in the Fifth Central Asian Conference on Climate Change (CACCC-2023), reports the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
