The Russian Geographical Society reminds of the imminent deadline for submitting works to the photo contest “The Most Beautiful Country”, which runs from January 10 to April 16, 2023.
Works of professional and amateur photographers who are citizens of any country are accepted for participation in the competition. The age of the participants is not limited, the main condition is that the photos must be taken in Russia.
The competition accepts photographs of the wild nature of Russia - landscapes, images of animals, insects, plants, natural phenomena, macro photography. Photos can be taken with a camera or smartphone.
The main prize of the competition is 250 thousand rubles, there will also be awards in the nominations “Audience Choice Award”, “Reserved Russia”, “Shot on a Camera Trap” and “People of Action”.
The photographs sent will first be selected by the competitive jury, the most successful ones will go to the final. Then will be an online vote for the People's Choice Award, and the winners will be announced in June 2023.
