Today the Trade Complex Exhibition of Turkmenistan is opening. On this occasion, the President of the country addressed congratulations to the participants of the exhibition and employees of the trade complex of the country.

“I am sure that the large-scale review held in the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” will further increase domestic and foreign trade, form modern production structures in the textile industry, modernize the national art of hand-made carpet weaving and develop the business sector,” the President’s Address says.

Turkmenistan has a huge potential for the development of trade and economic cooperation with the countries of the world in all areas. In this context, the ongoing socio-economic transformations give a powerful impetus to the rapid economic progress of the country. This is also reflected in the dynamic increase in the production of consumer goods and the development of domestic trade.

“Thanks to the implementation of large-scale reforms, the competitiveness of our products is increasing, which helps to saturate the domestic market with quality goods and expand the geography of foreign trade,” the head of state notes.

Today, products with the brand "Made in Turkmenistan", being in high demand in the world markets, are a confirmation of the country's steadily increasing export opportunities.

Large investments are directed to the leading sectors of the national economy - the textile industry, carpet weaving, modern enterprises are being built and put into operation, existing ones are being modernized, and thousands of new jobs are being created. At present, thanks to these transformations, environmentally friendly, high-quality textile and carpet products are confidently strengthening their positions in the domestic and foreign markets.

In conclusion, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, longevity, and great success in their active work to develop the trade sector.
