The Astrakhan governor highly appreciated the organization of the educational process, stressed the importance of preserving the creative heritage of the poet and Turkmen culture.

“It is gratifying that the Magtymguly Fragi school carefully preserves the creative heritage of the poet. The school has become a real center of Turkmen culture. At the same time, the traditions and culture of other peoples are honored here. This is very important for our multinational region,” said Igor Babushkin.

At the Magtymguly Fragi school, almost everything is ready for the opening of the "Point of Growth", it remains only to equip it with equipment. The opening is scheduled for September 1, 2023. Centers for additional education "Point of Growth" are opening in schools as part of the national project "Education". They enable schoolchildren to study free of charge using advanced technologies.

We remind that the first Turkmen school in Russia was opened in September 2019. Construction work was carried out at the expense of the budgetary funds of the Turkmen side. The school building is a 2-storey educational complex with a total area of over 3.5 thousand square meters and is designed for 190 students. 20 classrooms are equipped with modern equipment. The educational institution was named after the Turkmen poet, classic of world literature Magtymguly Fragi, who repeatedly came and lived in the village of Funtovo.

In 2024, the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi will be solemnly celebrated.
