The interregional table tennis competition "Hopes of Tatarstan" among boys and girls under 12 has started in Kazan. The tournament takes place in the sports complex "Center for Boxing and Table Tennis".
Turkmenistan is represented at the competitions by 6 young athletes - 2 girls, 4 boys and 2 coaches. This tournament in the national team is seen as an opportunity to prove themselves and gain international experience.
“All candidates are the backbone of our future national table tennis team. These are our best guys, they show great promise,” said Agamurat Allanazarov, chairman of the Table Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, in an interview with the MIR 24 TV channel.
