Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt will be closed to tourists from June


The Pyramid of Cheops at Giza will close for restoration in June 2023, according to the official website of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The work will be carried out inside the pyramid, so the entrance to it will be closed to tourists. During the restoration period, the Pyramid of Menkaure will be opened for travelers.

The Pyramid of Cheops is the largest of the Egyptian pyramids, a monument of the architectural art of Ancient Egypt. The only one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" that has survived to this day, and the oldest of them: its age is estimated at about 4500 years.
