The Belarusian Federation of Pankration and Mixed Martial Arts held the national championship in pankration. The competitions were held in Minsk.

Abdylla Tayhanov from Turkmenistan took part in the competitions in this universal type of martial arts, which combines striking and wrestling techniques.

Abdylla Tayhanov was the strongest in the weight category up to 66 kg. The organizers awarded the champion with a memorable gift, a medal and a letter of thanks.

Tayhanov receives higher education at the Belarusian State University.
