Today in Seoul, within the framework of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan held here, a meeting was held between representatives of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture and the rector of the Korean National University of Arts.
During the conversation, the possibilities of joint creative projects, participation in scientific seminars and educational meetings, exchange of students and teachers, as well as scientific information and educational materials were discussed.
The Turkmen delegation got acquainted with the structure, organization of scientific and educational work of the Korean University of the Arts, established in 1993 and being the leading institution that trains artists for professions of all artistic genres, including music, dance, theater, cinema, television, animation, fine arts, design, architecture and Korean traditional art.
As noted, the implementation of these contacts is supported by a cooperation agreement between the two universities, signed in April 2019.
In turn, the teacher of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture told the Korean colleagues about the activities of one of the leading creative universities of Turkmenistan, the training of personnel for the sphere of culture and art in the country.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side presented the rector of the Korean National University of Arts with memorable gifts - national dong, tahya and other souvenirs.
As we have already reported, the composition of the creative delegation representing the culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea also included students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture - members of the Miras folklore and choreographic group.
