An Australian amateur gold digger found a gold nugget weighing 4,6 kg, which was valued at 160 thousand USD. He was helped in this by an ordinary metal detector bought in a store, writes NDTV.
The man sold his find to the owner of a prospecting store, who was stunned by the size of the nugget, saying in an interview that he had never seen gold nuggets of this size. He paid the man who brought the piece of gold 100 thousand Australian dollars.
The gold bar was found in an abandoned gold mine in Victoria.
