On May 3-4, Ashgabat will host the Second International Conference “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development”, as well as within its framework the International Specialized Exhibition “Transport and Logistics”.
The main topics of the forum will be devoted to the prospects for increasing trade through logistics, digitalization in trade and logistics, current trends in postal items, the role of public-private partnerships in developing the connectivity of transport and logistics infrastructure, and other issues.
Within the framework of the event, it is expected to sign memorandums and agreements, hold seminars and round tables with the participation of international experts in the field of transport and logistics.
Excursions on the autobahn, Ashgabat International Airport and Turkmenbashi International Seaport will be organized for the forum participants.
Representatives of such international companies as Airbus, Boeing, Cargo Lux, Fly Dubai, Vitol, Dragon Oil are expected among the delegates; international organizations - IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICS (International Chamber of Shipping), IRU (International Road Transport Union), USAID in Central Asia and many others.
The International Specialized Exhibition “Transport and Logistics” will present the latest achievements of the transport and logistics industry of Turkmenistan, the services of car manufacturers and dealers, equipment suppliers for logistics centers, insurance companies, administrations of sea ports, airports and railways, according to the conference website.
