The Russian jewelry brand SOKOLOV analyzed the statistics of sales of wedding and engagement rings and found out in which cities of Russia the most generous grooms live, writes the “Izvestia” newspaper.
In the first place were residents of the “Northern Capital” - St. Petersburg, they were ready to spend an average amount of 11 042 rubles on an engagement ring. The residents of Saratov, who are ready to shell out 10 214 rubles for a ring, and Moscow (10 175 rubles) are a little behind them.
The most stingy future husbands live in Omsk (5844 rubles), Perm (6882 rubles) and Novosibirsk (7352 rubles).
Also, according to the statistics of jewelry sales in SOKOLOV, Russians most often make offers in March, August and September.
