In Japan, the first arrests were made in the case of “sushi terrorism”, reports “Moskovsky Komsomolets” with reference to information from The Guardian.
Let us remind that some time ago, restaurants in Japan began to be terrorized by the so-called “sushi terrorists”: young people, mostly teenagers, came to restaurants with conveyors (ribbons along which dishes from the menu move) and spoiled food. Cases have been described of violators licking food, smearing it with saliva, or drinking from common bottles of sauces.
Three people were arrested, all of them from the same group of visitors, the oldest of them is 21 years old, the youngest, a teenage girl, is 15. This group of sushi terrorists was noticed in early February in a restaurant in Nagoya.
In Japan, measures are being taken to prevent the recurrence of such cases: one of the restaurant chains in Tokyo has suspended the work of the conveyor belt, another company is introducing cameras with an artificial intelligence system to monitor the tables of visitors. Due to the actions of hooligans, Japanese food service outlets are forced to switch to traditional ways of serving customers.
