A three-day seminar on cooperation with Interpol was held in Turkmenistan

A training national seminar on cooperation with Interpol was held in the capital of Turkmenistan. The event was organized within the framework of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA).

The forum was attended by representatives of state bodies of Turkmenistan, reported on the website of the State Migration Service.

During the meeting, issues of effective combating transnational crime were discussed. The participants of the seminar were familiarized with international experience in relation to legal, procedural and technical solutions in the field of ensuring interconnections and organizing events together with Interpol.

Interpol is an international organization that unites law enforcement agencies of different countries to fight crime. Its full name is the International Criminal Police Organization. The headquarters is located in French Lyon. The organization traces its history back to 1923, when the International Criminal Police Commission was founded at the Vienna Police Congress.
