Lionel Scaloni, who led the Argentina national team to victory at the World Cup in Qatar, won the International Football Federation (FIFA) award for the best coach of the year in men's football, Match TV reports.

Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Josep Guardiola (Manchester City) also claimed the award.

The best coach in women's football was Sarina Wigman from the Netherlands, who led the England team to victory in the European Championship.

The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022 was held on February 27 in Paris.
