Three more Chinese airlines have resumed flights to Russia, according to the official website of Sheremetyevo Airport.

On February 21, Sichuan Airlines resumed flights on the “Chengdu-Moscow (Sheremetyevo)-Chengdu” route. Flights are operated 2 times a week (on Tuesdays and Saturdays).

Since February 23, Beijing Capital Airlines has resumed flights on the “Qingdao-Moscow (Sheremetyevo)-Qingdao” route. Flights are operated 2 times a week (on Thursdays and Sundays).

On February 26, China Eastern Airlines resumed flights on the route “Shanghai - Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – Shanghai”. The air carrier will fly 3 times a week (on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays).

All flights are operated by wide-body Airbus A330.

Thus, flights to Sheremetyevo are already operated by six Chinese carriers, including Hainan Airlines, Air China and China Southern Airlines.

In February, these airlines increased the number of flights to Moscow: Air China - from 1 to 7 flights, Hainan Airlines - from 1 to 2 flights per week.

The expansion of the flight program to the cities of China will open up new opportunities for passengers of Sheremetyevo Airport to travel in the Asia-Pacific region. Thus, Beijing Capital Airlines offers convenient connections not only within China - to Shanghai, Shenzhen, Changsha, Zhengzhou, but also to international destinations - to Melbourne and, in the near future, to Sydney. Travelers from China, in turn, can use Sheremetyevo's extensive route network for flights across Russia and the CIS countries.
