President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations to the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations celebrated today.
“Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust,” said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
He also stressed that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral relations with Jordan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that, thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between the countries would continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan expressed wishes of good health, happiness and well-being to King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, and further progress and prosperity to the people of Jordan, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Jordan were established on February 18, 1993.
