The closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan took place in the Turkmen capital. The final musical chord of the creative holiday was the concert of the masters of arts of the two countries, held today on the stage of the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center.
As noted at the festive ceremony, the events, conducted within the framework of the Days of Iran Culture, familiarized Ashgabat residents and guests of the Turkmen capital with original palette of art of the friendly people, their distinctive customs and traditions, modern achievements in the field of culture.
Performances of the Iranian musicians, ensembles in concert programs, demonstration of Iranian movies, an exhibition of decorative and applied arts and dishes of national cuisine, master-classes, meetings with the culture performances, significantly extended the Turkmen-Iranian humanitarian contacts.
The program of festive concert consisted of bright performances by Turkmen and Iranian artists. It included folk and modern songs and melodies, dance numbers.
The original compositions were presented to the audience by the folklore group Serpaý, percussionist virtuoso People's Artist of Turkmenistan Hakberdy Allamyradov and the Arçabil ensemble.
The performance of the Honored Artist of the country Sohbet Annamyradov “Melody of Dutar” reminded of the highlights of the legendary movie “Competition”, directed by Bulat Mansurov based on the story of N.Saryhanov “Shukur-Bahshi”.
The hottest response from the audience was found by the performances of the guests – the Iranian collectives Ronak and Kormanj Mirzazade.
Turkmen and Iranian artists restricted organically supplemented each other. All performances were imbued with the idea of unity in favor of peace and friendship, celebrations of eternal universal values.
Traditionally, at the end of the concert, the choreographic team of Laçyn performed the ancient Turkmen dance “Kushtdepdi”, which was joined by artists of the two countries.
A festive evening ended with “Friendship song” performed by soloists - People’s Artists of Turkmenistan Gozel Ovezova and Akmuhammet Hanov and other concert participants.
Let’s remind that the events aimed at expanding the Turkmen-Iranian interstate dialogue are continuing and tomorrow, February 15, a specialized exhibition of Iran will open at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the exposition of which will feature a wide range of goods produced in the neighboring country.
