The issues of intensifying partnership in the fuel – energy industry, oil processing industry and investment sphere were discussed in Abu-Dhabi today by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the information program “Watan” of the Turkmen television reports.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is ready for significant expansion of mutually beneficial relations with the UAE companies in the fuel-energy sector, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it has a large meaning in the context country’s goal of diversifying this industry, commissioning new capacities for the production of high-quality export oriented products.
The transport and logistics system was also noted as one of the most promising areas of cooperation. The modern infrastructure created in the country in recent years, including the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, new highways, airports, open up wide opportunities for the development of partnership in this area.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the supreme representative body of the people's power invited Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Turkmenistan with his family at any convenient time.
Let’s remind that the National Leader of Turkmen nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is in the United Arab Emirates on a two-day official visit, during which he met today with the UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and also visited the largest Sheikh Zayed Mosque in this country.
